Fusilier dragon

So why do I suddenly bring about this card?

Because in ocg dark world , it's playable.

2800 beatstick with skill drain.

Allure fodder

Big beatstick means it becomes more deck devastation virus fodder. And Ddv is really really good this format.

That's all for today

Card Card D

Open turn 1:

Play Duality,

summon Card Car D.

You have scryed your deck of 5 cards. Great.

With CDD, you can now defy the rules of Yugioh and open with 7 card resources (not 8 because we assume CDD is destroyed next turn) and have 8 in the 2nd turn.

CDD is a great card to get when you are topdecking during mid or late game.

Its also great to help you get your hand traps of Veiler and Max C in early game.

Then again you think, oh dang i just wasted one turn in exchange for Pot of Greed effect, then suddenly you realise your opponent will probably do it too, so that means you are both equal. Assuming you started first and CDD, and your opponent following suit, you will be the one picking off momentum first next turn.

The release of CDD totally changes the way Yugioh may be played because nobody wants to let their opponent gain a plus one, and let them get away with it only for some damage.

There was a time way way back when everybody was forced to run Cyber Dragon, Sangan and DD Warrior Lady because they were TOO good. Lately with all the broken individual theme support, we realise that those cards are way too slow. Has Konami finally released something generic which will be taken advantage of by ALL decks?

Back when i was in primary school (elementary school), there were people playing with fake Yugioh cards. One particular card was a broken card whereby it let you pay 1000 points to draw an extra card.

Theoretically in Yugioh, 1 card is worth 1000 life points. Hell i would be glad to give abit more than that just to play Pot of Greed.

Its generally on par with Pot of Duality because you get an extra card in exchange of a normal summon and a set up. However if you ask me, POD is still better because you get to see 3 cards instead of an extra 2.

Good players way back will tell you they rather open with Graceful Charity (and Sinister Serpent) compared to Pot of Greed, so the same mentality applies here.

THAT'S all for today.

Found a great tech in dark world.

May post it after some testing is done with it.

The best thing ? It's legal in Asia format.

Anyhow today's post is regarding Malaysia's Asia tourney.

The only way you can join it is to buy a box of gaov for Two hundred bucks in order to obtain a form. I feel it is an unfair ruling because it forces a player to spend for an event which should have been and has always been free since forever ?

I asked Baha and he has told me that the policy isn't implemented in Singapore. However I heard that the policy is implemented in hong kong head of Asia's Konami yugioh.

However in hk the grade A players (Asia players will understand the grade system) do get free forms however hen my friends asked Paul, head of Malaysia, he said you will still need to get a box.

So will that affect the distribution of players of this year's Asia tourney ?

I doubt it. Because players everywhere still wanna buy the box to get the new dragons. Those who want the new dragons will be getting them for free basically.

I have heard the reasons to why Paul is doing this but I'm not disclosing it because of sensitive issues. It has helped me understand the reason but I feel that as a trusted distributor, he should not be doing it still. But I'm not gonna rant about this. When life throws shit at you, you just gotta avoid it and find a way out.

I'm getting my form free which i cant disclose the reason too so I'm not complaining.

Ps: photon streak bouncer is a bitch.

What YOU Need to Read if YOU wish to Start Vanguard

So, i've been chatting alot with Rauzes lately at locals (yes he's still around), and he's been trying to convert (brainwash) me to CFVG.

Recently, he wrote a long long blog post about the clans of CFVG.

Its a good article, so take your time to read it.

As for me, I probably wont take up CFVG because its expensive to invest in a new game (although its really really tempting) and I'm not very good at playing 2 card games at the same time (but that can be fixed), let alone 2 or 3 different decks in YGO but thats just me.

Thats all for today.

Thoughts on Banlist

The banlist is supposed to be utilised to help the players by banning overpowered cards and nerfing overpowered decks so that other decks stand a fighting chance.

But this list shows Konami's selfish actions in the sense that the entire list was designed to maximise profit by cutting off synchros, and banning Plants altogether, arguably the most skilled based deck in the game. This also means that they are cutting off all good non-themed based decks, because all they want to do is create an environment filled with theme decks, except Rabbit but then there's no way they are gonna touch that when they are encouraging xyz.

Tour Guide is 100x better than Tengu, but Tour Guide wasn't hit because it encouraged xyz and Tengu was synchro-based.

I personally dislike what Konami is doing. Its actions were bad already throughout the whole of last year, but this time, it became much worse, and its basically telling the player base "i dont give a fuck, if you want to continue playing, just accept it"

People are saying, just move on, and just accept it. Hell yeah I have, but it still does mean that you cannot express that the list is a bad list. Like everyone else, we must take advantage of the stupid broken list :D

Bringing Torrential to 2 was also one of the weirdest and dumbest things to do. Torrential at 2 could replace Dark Hole's slot because Torrential > Dark Hole.

But Konami did not just kill off Insectors, their favorite deck, because they gave them a 3rd call of Haunted. I'm like seriously wtf with 3 calls and 1 reborn, we can play blindly and not even care about Warning. The only painful thing now would be Veiler of course. But then after they Veiler you and kill your Damsel, you can just flip COTH to bring it back.

This has to be one of the messiest lists ever.

Konami's actions with this list, and printing of Alexandrite Dragon in the new Starter deck 2012 (which led to people speculating if Tengu would be included in it) has shown that we can no longer predict Konami's actions, and they are officially turning Yugioh into a mass profit scheme, and that they are no longer afraid to show it either.

Of course the new SD is quite decent as 2 of the new string djinn xyzs are decent.

End of story, everybody let's bandwagon to Insectors.
