Why does the OCG like Raigeki Break so much? I never understood it's appeal when it was played years back, or when Stardust came out, or to now, where we have Zenmaines.
@ GQ- im keeping it asia format ;) if not i straight spam 2 raiohs already. also, bls comes out so easily.
@ avenging knight, sean, anon- no space and DAD isnt my cup of tea.
@ mike jeezy- its decent here. with extra armagaedon knights or other stuff. I would totally throw in another if i did not have fiendish chains. its very good.
@ HSE- Max C not viable in ocg format. also nope no tomato. i was contemplating it but currently lack of
DAD does wonders even for Inzecters, I've tested it and it has won me many games. It's too easy to control your grave. If you play him you will soon find out that you actually need him more than you've ever expected.
To make the deck more balanced, I suggest you either drop 1-2 Fiendish Chains, or BLS and 1 Veiler to solve your space issue and give space for DAD (and 1 more Raigeki Break if you like, it's very good).
Now on Raigeki Break, it's good in Inzecters b'coz your hand size doesn't really matter much, since you only need to have either a Damsel or Centipede in hand to control the game (assuming Hornet is already in your grave), and it doesn't hurt to get rid of your non-essential hand cards such as Hornet, Arma. Knight, etc.
Raigeki Break also helps a lot in getting rid of annoying cards such as Macro Cosmos and Skill Drains if they are played against you. All in all, Raigeki is like an additional MST and could also destroy your opponent's monster and disrupt their combo if needed. Hence, it isn't bad to main 2, try it.
Mystic Tomato is horrible in mirror matches. Recruiters doesn't really make the cut when Tier 1 decks explode first and then attack. However, it still helps if you open with a below-average hand. Maxx isn't a must compared to TCG, its still good in side-deck though.
I would recommend Lair Wire and Inzektor Giga-Grioll. You can explode with Empty Space with the help of these cards. Raigeki seems good.
@ Sean - about dad, you have to know I have terrible luck with it... At least with bls he is never really dead. And yes I'm considering maining my 2nd thunder break and thinking of teching lair wire or trying it out.
I commented before we met actually. But hell, you're always busy with chicks and rarely online. Whatever the case, deck and tech choice always depends on how you feel. It works better that way. Don't go double RB, trust me. Lair Wire is the way to go.
