Hi, I'm from NY and I try to keep myself updated with OCG play, but I can't figure out why wind-ups don't play monster reborn or pot of avarice? I do understand why dark hole isn't played, but why no reborn or avarice?

Hi urmmmm. The format for the Asian plus team tournament is that the entire team shares 1 banlist, so, means 1 reborn per team 1 avarice per team etc
In this case Avarice was taken by mermail as it benefits them more . And reborn was taken by the hero beat player because coth does the same thing for WU and reborn helps hero beat otk faster and gain momentum faster
