Now i know that most of the six samurai cards have stories, and appear in previous sets and STOR (eg: chamberlain of six= LSS kageki) Does this mean that there are more stories to how shiens strategist, and hermit came along? :D
Kudos to Sean for pointing this card out to me. He pointed that this card aided in Trishula summoning for six samurai decks. IMO, six samurai decks should summon Mist Worm instead because Mist Worm is like Giant Trunade and it helps with the OTK. Sure advantage is important, but when you have a whole field of about 5 x 2000 attack monsters, you should really OTK instead...
The first splashable useful NON TUNER six samurai card.
Do you know why i am startin to like this card?
1) Searchable with Reinforcements.
2) Easy to summon.
3) Because it is splashable, we are encouraged to use LSS Shi En.
What to do: Special Summon Hermit, summon X Saber Pashuul (best non six samurai level 2 warrior tuner around)
Lets make LSS Shi En!
i may consider moding my deck to fit this card in together with Reinforcement of the Army.
Afterall, seriously, if you had an easy way to play LSS Shi En, the most annoying synchro monster ever, wont you?
Of course the spell/ trap negation effect is gold.
Im starting to like Shi En, at least.

Edit: Just heard the pricing of Malaysian LSS Shi En. Totally expensive. Even if i have money, i dont think i will get it unless i get a good deal for it. Totally bullshit.
So, brings me back to the topic.... AUGGGHHHH! Everyone can summon shi en now. And I hate Shi En !

this card can play in Debris Dandy deck oso... since its atk is lower than 500 and it is 3 star, its effect can make you synchron faster... y not?
Yup, nice post about Hermit. Being a lv.3 sp.summonable monster, he is also a vy good Trishula synchro material for Six Sams and other decks =).

@ shin tat- yes. but then i wont summon debris and waste his effect to pull off hermit but i must admit there are situations where reviving another tuner is really useful
@ sean- thank you. you intro this card to me one! :D yup especially trishula. i was thinking six smaurai using mist worm is better cos it help with the OTK. Mist wurm is like a better giant trunade.
Cielotte- thank you too. sabers with shien will add control elements to it. ppl can choose to tech gorz, debris dragon, effect veiler etc and now there is hermit of six warlord.
I have a feeling that after the Mac Banlist Six Sams would probably lose the OTK potential they used to have. Hence they would not be an OTK-based deck anymore but a deck that focuses primarily on Shien lockdown.

banning ROTA and limiting Gateway wouldn't hurt six sams if they keep printing broken cards like this...
yup... splashable no-tuner samurai, would probably take 1 of nimble hamster's slot at X-sabers

@bw ex- i disagree with ppl wanting to ban rota. because other decks like hero beat etc need it still. in fact, its better to limit smoke signal or just kizan altogether.
Ya, Mike. OTK shenanigans aren't healthy in YGO.
I also got a feeling that Kizan will be semi-ed.
hero beat still has 3 E-call, and all other worthwhile warriors are either run in 3's or have their respective search cards

no. there are still other warrior decks around. hero beat is just an example only.
banning reinforcement is no difference actually, because there is still 3 upstart, 3 kizan, 1 or 2 gateway, and 3 smoke signal. konami should attack the theme.
i think konami will keep reinforcements at 1 for other destiny turbo random warrior decks around.
here OCG we have to endure another 6 more. so 1 yr T.T oh well same as the TCG enduring darksoul and infern barrier and charge of light brigade (few formats ago last time)
by the time darksoul reaches OCG, X-sabers would be long forgotten, TCG exclusives at Extra pack 4 getting hit by the banlist seems unlikely
Infernities and X-Sabers are barely making an impact during sept2010 format, even on open tourneys here at PHL
back on topic though... making Shi En splashable through hermit = ban Shi EN!!!

and nah, they are still a decent archetype and they WILL be played in a sanctioned tourneys, much like blackwings.
i guarantee malaysia players will play sabers.
because without promo carrds, the deck works awesomely, and they can OTK very very very well.
doubt the tcg exclusives through exp 4 will be touched. if anythng needs touching, its faultroll.
one possible reason for them nt making it big in PHL tourney is that not many play the deck. so percentage for the deck to appaer in top8 is damn low. or another possiblity is those players arent experienced enough. (eg: inex Infern/ saber player vs exp BD player, and the saber player will stil lose)

LOL shi en wont be banned. like sean said, after the banlist, six sam will likely become a control deck and not a swarmm nutbomb,and shi en will be a major component for that strategy, and that is a deck i approve off, and i'd be thrilled to play against sams any day after that.
who knows i might build sams after that one day hahaha
