I think i speak on behalf of a whole lot of the Yugioh community.
This goes out to people ranting about the game, format etc.
Just stop it and play the game.

Asia Plus Tourney Report
So went for Tourney today. Last day to use Inzektors so yeah what the hell.
Round 1: VS Yap Zian Dark World
Game 1: he had god hand and had dragged down and then during my draw phase he eradicator epidermic virus me. I summon my centipede and whack his Beige, and destroyed his Gate to search Damsel. It went downhill for him from that point on.
Game 2: he had dragged down to kill off my traps to leave me with vanilla hand. We were at a 3 card to 6 card advantage. I dualitied into Mirror Force and summoned a vanilla. He didnt dare to attack and i soon grinded out the game and made Utopia and had Macro backed up. He drew MST later but it was too late as i had too much control over the field.
OO
Team score XXO
Round 2: Bye
Round 3: VS Ngai Foo Weng Machina Gadget
Game 1: Inzektors too strong.
Game 2: I drew 3 Saber saurus within 3 turns. Traps got MST and double cycloned. Stalled with vanilla and safe zone and later made Hope Ray and Fiendish Chain his Fortress. He summoned another Gearframe and i scooped.
Game 3: Opened with vanilla, rabbit, reaper, duality, trap, and guaiba. 1st turn lagia. Opponent set 5 and tried to bait out my Lagia with MST and double cyclone. I negated his COTH and then proceeded to beatdown and win with vanilla and lagia.
OXO
Team score OOO
Didnt make it into finals because of tiebreakers but congratz to kyde izzat sean for winning.

Wind Ups
konami. there is no way you hit wind up hard enough for this format.
The discard hand combo can still be done ! but not consistently, or so easily, and it doesnt knock out everything in their hand but still ... options !
and. as for the Maxx C arguement, just side /main T roars.

Agents list
I don't think I'll post the Dw list because it's my friends list. So instead here is my agents list:
Its been doing really well. Beat Dino Rabbits, standard dark World, and Inzektor beat. Its losses were to Jason's Dark World with mained Dark Smogs. Im pretty sure that without the Smogs the game would have gone in a different direction. Dragged Down is retarded strong though. Lost SO many games due to it.
Still testing the 2nd Tragoedia but I feel the 2nd reaper is more relevant in a Dino Rabbit format.
The mained Dark Resonator is a better addition compared to Night Assailant imo as it gives the deck more options. You can easily dish out a rank 3 easily with Reaper, Tragoedias etc. Together with Tour Guide, its just xyz fodder anyway but its a nifty card overall.
The reason why you see 42 cards is because of a concept i saw while reading ARG a long time ago. The players talked about Rabbit maining 42 cards because it could and it reduced the chances of drawing vanillas. With that said, i decided to try this out so that i do not get retarded hands of more than 1 Ball. And....im happy to say it worked ! Granted, Venus is not a win condition in this deck so it doesnt matter so much either if you dont draw into her. With PODs, 3 Venus and 2 Earth, i havent had any problems having no access to Venus.
With all that said, I wont be running the deck next format.
PS: and fyi, im only testing the 42 card concept here, and this is vers 1.0 build, obviously who would go to the extent of running 42 cards in a tourney, please.

Hieratic Dragon King of Heliopolis
These few days i've been extra busy testing some deck ideas, along with making calls and an unusual load of Yugioh related texts to invest in cards for the next format.
I know what i will be playing next format ! ;)
Either DW or Agents as both are incrediby good. DW's problem is the usual game 2 and 3 but if testing Imperial Iron Wall may prove effective, then I will use it. A decklist will be up tomorrow, and some discussions for it will be provided.
Agents on the other hand are full of delicious boss monsters and remind me of how Plants used to be played. Bait stuff out, conserve power cards, and gain advantage over opponents. There will be some nice techs (introduced by teammate, kudos to him)
Anyhow one of the new extra deck staples to look out for next format will be Ennead.
Dishing out rank 8s is very easy despite you using Agents (bloody lot of options), Dark World or TG Stun, or even Malefic Skill Drain Stun.
A big 3k beatstick with a better Scrap Dragon effect is quite useful, imo.
Getting it out is not hard either if your using Agents, Hyperion is rank 8 and Tragoedia is essentially the most versatile card in the deck. Besides that, if you have dead Kristia in hand you can snatch your opponent's Grapha/Hyperion with Trag or Mind Control for profit mmyeah.
Compulsory will also be good next format as it slows down and becomes one of the best removal cards.
BTW one chan's name has been changed to where arf thou. retard.

The guide to playing/beating final countdown
so you think final countdown is autopilot and takes no skill? think again. It is harder to win with them than to win against them. Tyler Tabman made a perfect meta call in the YCS and almost nobody knew how to play against it, until after the YCS. I really salute him because he made the 2 best meta calls for the game this year (wind ups, countdown). I dont think Exodia by Jarel was a good meta call at all, but i still respect and salute him for bringing the deck to a top 8 finish, or even to play the deck against Japan.
One of the things that people have to realize is that the TCG know about final countdown much more than the OCG. In japan, its not considered a threat because 1 shock ruler + decree fucks up the whole deck but what about asia format? so its my job to bring about some awareness.
So the whole deck is basically revolving around certain cards. You will be stalling or trying to get countdown in your hand turn 1. In asia format you cant run gold sarcophagus and it really hinders the deck's consistency alot. Cards like Card Car D are decent but it is prone to Veiler.
So, the second thing you need to do is to save your scarecrows and one day of peace. Most people are playing One Day wrongly and 1 Day is the single handedly most broken card in the deck because of the fact that you can block out Gagaga Gunman's burn. What you would be setting often is Threatening Roar, and Waboku first, and then later putting out your Ruler of Thunders and frozen souls.
You should also not be playing Battle Fader if you have not realized it already because:
1) Battle Fader dies to Warning and your giving them a chance to fuck you up because taking 2k points off their life means drawing 1 less card from Hope for Escape.
2) Fader dies to random stuffs like Koaki Meriru Dragon and Deck Devastation Virus. Hence its weak.
The same thing can be said for Card Car D but i feel that its still needed because drawing into Countdown is still more important because its the deck's win condition.
Next off if you open with Upstart and POD you should play Upstart first and then POD. It is done so so that you can view the next top 4 cards from your deck. Chances are Counttdown is hidden within those cards. If you do the reverse, POD first reveals the first 3, then you shuffle your deck and you play goblin. the chances of revealing a countdown is lesser, if you know what i mean.
Then you must know about the rulings of Frozen Soul. And that it STACKS. Meaning that if you chain it to Thunder of Ruler, your opponent's next battle phase is skipped meaning the turn after this. This means you would gain a whole fucking 4 turns from Countdown. And the fact that Frozen Soul declares that you need to go into the NEXT battle phase, it means that if your opponent just so happens to forget to declare going into battle phase, then he loses this turn's and skips his next one ! Meaning you gain 6 whole turns from Countdown.
Next of, if you know your opponent has an MST set, you shouldnt be setting only 1 face down damage negater because its likely you'll lose the game after. Unless you have a Scarecrow waiting in his hand to waste his MST then its a good move. You should also set multiple bluffs so that your opponent hits the wrong card.
If your not playing the Hope For Escape build, you should because its bloody good. One more thing to notice is that in early game if you take only 2000 to 3000 damage, just let it pass. Why waste a Waboku/ T Roar? just take it and then profit (mmyeah) off Hope for Escape. Your opponent will be confused by that fact that you do not have any damage negaters.
Your worst matchups are probably Dino Rabbit and 6 Samurai. Hence, i would suggest siding 2 Lava Golems and 2 Penguin Soldiers (to clear off Shien) but its not hard for the opponent to just make it again though so Lava Golems are good.
Now to the second part of the article.
so you think final countdown is impossible to break apart? think again.
In fact the deck is EXTREMELY EASY to destroy.
The most important thing to note is to conserve your MST in game 1s. You would probably lose game 1 without siding but who cares you have games 2 and 3 to make up for it.
Next you have to remember the existence of Gagaga Gunman. 1.6k burn can mean alot of things in many situations.
Next up, you should never be pecking for small damages like whacking early game. What you should do is to build up a winning field enough to push for game. You may call this overextending into Dark Hole, but let me ask you, what if you attack bit by bit and they successfully resolve a Hope for Escape. If that happens you might as well scoop the game. Dark Hole is one card but with most decks putting 8k plus damage isnt hard and you can just build up again (1 reason why Inzektor was the best matchup vs final countdown) . That was why the Japanese kept chaining Solemn Warning to their own summons VS Jarel Winston at worlds. Hope For Escape is sort of a well designed power card, which is something rare for the game.
Once you have put out 8k plus damage, you can now proceed to waste his traps and Scarecrows. You should be saving those MSTs for situations like this to waste his Scarecrows because they're unrecyclable. The moment you see Card Car D you can just Warning it straight.
From above, you must never forget Frozen Soul's rulings. Just declare battle phase. 2 simple words every turn. It wont hurt you.
Next , how should you be siding VS countdown? The usual suspects is Royal Decree. But Countdown players are smart and know how to play around it. Now i will teach you how to play around them. When you have Royal Decree, dont activate it yet. Always wait until you have the 2nd set down. Your opponent is likely gonna just hit Decree with a set MST/ Twister etc. Once you chain 1, your opponent will chain their S/T removal, and you chain the 2nd Decree and OTK straight. Your opponent will be weary to set multiple s/t removals. Decks like Inzektors had the upper hand last format. This format, my call would be Chaos Dragon (laila), Rabbit Dino (lagia) and hieratics (su) to be the worst matchups for final countdown.
There are also other potential cards like Prohibition (calling Scarecrow) which could work (it worked against me once) and other rogue techs like Dark Bribe.
Also if you drew Solemn Judgment turn 1 you can celebrate because resolving Judgment against turn 2 countdown means you win straight. Hence cards like Dark Bribe are potential side cards.
Another card that absolutely destroys the deck is Cursed Seal of Forbidden Spell. If you resolve it against Countdown they scoop straight.
Another potential card you could run is Jinzo (idea from alato). Summoning Jinzo means you've almost won the game unless your opponent gets Dark Hole. The skill of playing Jinzo/Shien/Lagia is that you should not have any other monster on the board besides them to avoid Lava Golem.
And thats all for todays post.

Random but important stuffs about next format.
First of Tourney report:
Deck Used: Inzektor
Yes it is the last day to use my beloved lucksack deck.
Round 1 : Mark Lee
Deck used: Final Countdown
Game 1: He didnt draw countdown and just stalled. I had MST/ Solemn set up and just waste all his Scarecrow. Then OTK when i had the chance.
Game 2: I didnt draw any sided cards and he 1st turn Countdown. Did the same thing as Game 1 but he had Pot of Avarice back all his Scarecrow and i lost soon after.
Game 3: He didnt draw Countdown but even if he had, I had Dark Bribe and Cursed Seal of Forbidden Spell set up. Repeat process and win.
THAT MOMENT WHEN YOU BEAT COUNTDOWN BECAUSE YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE DECK LOL.
OXO
1-0
Anyhow i didnt know we could use promos and nobody had a Shock Ruler to lend out.
Round 2 : Yung Kang
Deck Used: Inzektor
Game 1: I had Damsel and Hornet and just went all the way.
Game 2: He had Dark Armed and Reborn.
Game 3: I drew shit but stalled and I crowed his Hornet. Stalemate and I dropped Dark Armed, and equipped Mantis to my Damsel. He misplayed as he veilered my dark armed instead of Damsel, and i proceeded to use Heavy Storm, and followed up with Reborn. No pride felt in winning this match.
OXO
2-0
Round 3 : Shin Tat
Deck Used: Frog Monarch
Game 1: Volcasaurus his Gorz away FTW
Game 2: He surprised me as he had Banisher sided. Sided in my Crow and had Solemn Judgment for his stuff. Inzektor derp all the way
OO
3-0
Round 4 : LGQ
Deck Used: September format Hieratics
Game 1: Drew shit and he OTK
Game 2: I OTK
Game 3: I rush and otk.
OXO
4-0
No glory too as he was using September list and we didn sidedeck during the match as i didnt put in maxx Cs in mine since he was my soldier today and he wanted to test game 1s so yeah.
Since we were top scorers we went to finals and he let me up while i just gave him the playmat. Top Store spot achieved !
I'll post the decklist just for the sake of the last list i'll post before the format ends. It was a shitty format.
The bad point of not having another deck like Inzektors is that now Yugioh will cost more than rm300 + to build a good tier 1 deck :( but who cares it was meant to go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
editted this as i didnt wanna double post.
You think wind up is dead? fuck no, check lfn blog for more details.
So now Tour Guide is limited to 2. But it is still incredibly good as a power card. So, what now? A suitable replacement will be Night Assassin. You can main 1 because drawing it is not so bad, and it can still be quite nifty at times.
Tour bus is trash anywhere else aside from windup cos returning zenmighty to deck is profit mmyeah.
Mirror Force will be good next format, period.
There will be Psychic Doppel with builds maining 3 teleport. I have heard of alien doppel too but have no clue what it does.
Cards like Krebons, Spirit Reaper etc will be solid picks again due to the going of Inzektors. D Prison and Mirror Force also say hello =)
I still think Maxx C is worth stocking up on since you can use it for Hieratics, Mermail, and Wind Ups. Veiler will be good this format still. I wont say for sure if it will be staple yet like this format.
Agents will be strong again and Gachi + Venus will be solid since there's no Inzektors. Not very good, but solid. Of course there's Compulsory Evacuation Device but who cares.
On a side note its funny when ppl AHL into Excalibur and you chain Magic Cylinder.

Ban List Discussion
First of all went for top store team tourney:
Used Countdown.
round 1: VS kyde Hieratic
game 1: countdown FTW
game 2: 2x decree ftw i only saw 1 twister
game 3: my mistake as i didnt know u can chain a trap when decree is already on the field and then chain twister. thought i had scarecrow to save me but he showed prohibition.
team record OXX
round 2: VS song ming Inzektors
game 1: countdown ftw
game 2: countdown ftw
team record OOX
round 3: vs siao sian Chaos Dragon
game 1: countdown ftw
game 2: 2x decree + 1 DDV to kill my fader + scarecrow o.o
game 3: 2x decree and i misplayed as i thought too much whether to play set twister or not.
team record XXO
lesson learnt:
1) countdown is not pure lucksack. You need to know your rulings.
2) Dont think so much when your playing countdown twister is a god card.
3) DONT bother siding in burn cards for game 3. retarded shop rules that you can go into time but they decided that there was no time limit. 10/15 cards in side deck GG straight
4) I now know how to play and side properly with countdown :) should have tested more with the deck as it was 2nd time playing today.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
So everyone has seen the banlist. It is not 100 % confirmed. but lets assume it is !
Inzektors are literally dead at first thought but i have a feeling the deck can still be played somehow with tomato, tour guide, 3 mantis etc and it will be up to japan to build it :D
chaos dragons got hit badly and future fusion and brionac (both deserving cards got banned)
Hieratics consistency have been rendered slightly but theres still Hanzo and the fact that redmd got semi limited means u needa conserve more. It would be hard to OTK in asia format but in normal ocg formats, you could still use Tragodiea to make Gustave Max
I saw BLS not getting banned as Konami probably wanted to sell the Gold Box.
Monster Reborn not getting banned was disappointing. This card really needs to go.
I would rather have had Hunter banned then have zenmighty limited. I guess Konami liked the concept of hand discard loops and they didnt like so much self touching.
So overall the format has moved into a slightly more control based format with reduced OTKs.
Its not a BAD format but who cant see the fact that more broken archetypes are gonna be released in future sets lol.
Decks that are viable next format:
1) Heroes
2) Gadget
3) Hieratics
4) Dino Rabbit
5) Mermail / Atlantean
6) Countdown
7) Inzektors (depends on how its built. Im not 100% on this)
8) X SABER
9) Dark world
10) AGENTS
11) Infernity
12) Wind Up
13) rogue decks like dimensional skilll drain beat/ GB/
OH so many decks. Love. Of course what i have listed is a mix of tier 1 to tier 2/ 2.5 decks so it will take a while for the meta to shape first before attempting to play certain decks.
So obvious that Konami wants to promote a more deck diverse format. There are some players saying "this is a terrible idea only 1 deck should dominate". all i can say is that a while ago when only 1 deck was dominating, everybody was complaining, and now Konami has answered their call but people are still unhappy. Long long time ago some players were complaining how hard it was to get certain cards so when Konami started a massive reprint revolution, people complained. You can never please people. Fact. But i do agree that we need to have better prize support in the game.
No BF is not playable no matter what you say.
More to come when i can think.

In response to sung lees move
This post is dedicated to all players who have watched sung lees feature match. My whole FB is filled with people being salty (99% TCG players) about his extra normal summon with zephros.
I just want everyone to know sung lee is one of the most honest players I know and he would never do such a thing intentionally. He overlooked it the judges overlooked it and the opponent overlooked it and any other Malaysian player would agree with me about sung lee.
Other things to note are he would have almost won game with opponent at 200 lp
Anyhow I think both players played amazingly. Kudos to them guys. It was a good match,
